Bloodworm Moon Eclipse

It required a bit of commitment to get up at 1:45 AM and go outside on a cold March night to observe a lunar eclipse. The day and evening had been cloudy, so I was not confident that the moon would be visible. Happily the sky had cleared, and the partially shadowed moon was visible. As the eclipse progressed, the moon appeared increasingly red, but still quite visible, until it disappeared behind the trees. It was definitely worth the chill!
