About the Photographer

Ron St. Jean has operated a portrait, event, and fine art photography business in the New Hampshire seacoast area for more than twenty-five years. He particularly enjoys learning about the people who come to the studio or to a meaningful off-site location, in order to create portraits that accurately represent their personalities. Ron understands that many people expect a portrait session to be stressful, and takes pride in receiving testimonials about how easy and painless their experience was.

Ron creates portraits for personal collections, as well as for use in promoting a business. Ron also enjoys photographing performing artists, including musicians and actors, and embraces the challenge of representing the energy and flavor of a performance through still images.

Ron’s corporate photography includes, in addition to professional business portraits, images of products, locations, and business activities. Ron is also a co-owner of Barrington Editions, a Rochester, NH based company that specializes in the photographic replication of fine art for working artists throughout the United States.
